I emailed Kobo about a problem with the Pulse feature on November 22 and just received a reply today, December 11. They merely quoted the manual, and did not address my problem at all. Does anyone really read the message? Is anyone really out there?

Been reading a lot of people's problems, and I'm puzzled. I had battery issues with the older model, but zero problems with the Kobo Touch. People losing books? How do you do that? I have 75,000 books tucked away in a corner on my computer. Archived they fill 4-5 DVD.

With the Kobo connected to the computer, it's no different than moving stuff on or off a pen drive - piece of cake.

I read on an average 4 or 5 400+ page novels a week.

When I had problems and thought the support guys were ignoring me, I googled for the KOBO executives, and played with name combinations in email. When I figured out the combo, I talked with the CEO, the Manager of support and a few other top managers.

Every one of them went the second mile to see my problem resolved.
Yes the beginning was a bit shaky and I was seriously considering returning the Kobo and going for something else, but once I got the attention of senior management, things went smooth.

I greatly enjoy my reading experience with my KOBO TOUCH and would really miss it if it were gone.

I would guess about once every 6-8 weeks I have to press the reset switch through the back case, but that is so simple, anyone could do that.
