Mistborn, Warbreaker, and Stormlight Archives (Way of Kings) are all set in the same universe. There's a character that appears in all of them, too.

Here's an interesting Q&A from a recent book signing in Seattle.

I'm reading Alloy of Law now, and finding it a lot of fun. It's a rambunctious, slightly steampunk Western set in the future of the Mistborn world. Sanderson says in the acknowledgments that it's a standalone, and not part of the two planned follow-up trilogies.

Oh, that sounds interesting!

Definitely adding that to my TBR list.

Mmm. I have it, but haven't cracked it open yet. So busy with reading for some classes I haven't had a chance to do much pleasure reading lately Hopefully over Christmas.

You knew from the first page that the prince was going to restore the magic...it was just a question of when and how. Then, when its back, it gets used with a vengeance.

I just picked up Warbreaker...according to Sanderson's blog, its almost like a sister book to Elantris with some of the same ideas but taken in a different direction.

I plan to read Misborn but won't bother with Stormlight until most of the books are out.
I just finished Warbreaker and really like it. I give it the edge over Elantris because I thought the magic system was really neat. According to the annotations in the book, he may do a sequel. I would love that.

Just downloaded the Mistborn Trilogy to my Kindle (as one ebook!) and plan to start it tomorrow. I seem to be on a Sanderson kick at the moment.
