All working, I've transferred all my books via calibre. I haven't been able to connect to my router, not sure what the problem is but from another thread on here it seems common.

All in all, I am VERY impressed. Compared to my original kobo, it is snappy, easy to use, lots of functions, lighter, pretty lilac etc etc. Now I just need a case - paranoid about wrecking the screen.

Are you all jealous?
any luck with your router? I think PeterT was saying in a thread if it cant find to manually enter the information.

.

just curious

No, unfortunately not. I tried it at a public library free hotspot and it worked, tried it at at work (WPA2 security enabled ) and at home (same security) and it didn't. I've tried it both manually and auto - no luck either way.

Frustrating, but it isn't tarnishing the experience, still enjoying my new gadget.

Edited a few hours later: Solved it by buying a new router! I have had numerous problems with various devices and random disconnect so decided it was time for a new one. No problems connecting now so can't blame my kobo for it.

Postman delivered my Kobo Touch an hour ago. Been playing with it for the past hour and everything seems good. No issues so far, connected to my WiFi network without a hitch, that I'm glad about.

How are you finding it yum9me?

So, the 3 kiwis on here have received their parcel - but only two Aussies. Is that because we are closer to the US

It's great. It's very responsive and there is minimal lag when turning pages. After a couple of sessions using it, fingerprints were visible on the screen when you held it in the light in the right (or wrong) way. Only a little nitpick but it don't bother me too much anymore as I'm use to fingerprints on my touch screens.

Hopefully coming in a later firmware update is more stats on reading habits to match or better what is on the mobile Kobo apps. I love statistics.

Just out of interest, what make / model was your old router and what did you replace it with?

Another day, another week, another month even, still no KT for me.

Looks like I might hold the record for slowest delivery...
