Yes! - That's the one.

Didn't really notice it was homosexual. As you say, it was quite well written and had a nice narrative arc; most of the throwaway little tales within the novel do.

Memorable, on the other hand? - Apparently not.

Now I remember. Of course. Didn't think of that as a sex scene - the sex was just an expression of connection, tenderness. So memorable enough, just a different context.

I pre-ordered this when I learned it was being released.

I love Gaiman's work, and I am rather fond of this one in particular, having grown up in Madison and gone to The House On The Rock every summer. Any book with The House on the Rock in it has got to be good.
