I cracked and ordered the 350 with in-store pickup. They are in this week's Best Buy's ad as CLEARANCE ITEM, so I decided to get one while I could.

At $119 it is a great deal. 4 of the 5 Best Buys in my area have the readers in stock ready to pick up.

After narrowing my choices down to between the Kindle Wi-Fi or Sony 350, I picked up a 350 a few weeks ago at Best Buy for $129. Personally, as a stay-at-home dad, I don't care abut wi-fi or 3G. I'm not out and about enough for that to matter. But the touch screen (even if it's smaller than the Kindle) was what made me go with the Sony. So far, I'm quite happy with it and for finally taking the e-reader plunge.

I got the 350 today and am transferring my books to it. The small size feels weird in my hands, but the 650 always felt slightly too large. I'll know which one will be primary in a few days!

I can do my Kindle with one hand, but it's quite awkward; so I end up using both hands.
I use my 650 with one hand most of the time and I do not find it awkward. And I use my thumb to swipe the screen to turn the page. Actually, the 650 is very good for both left or right handed people as you can change how it's swiped.

I like the smaller size, and there is only a difference of one line of text between the 350 and 650 when using the small text size. I've shut down the 650 and put it away to keep as a back up.

I read the small one in XS font which makes it as many word on the screen as S on the big one.
