Travelled SE Asia for a year (and fined for leaving Thailand after my visa expired)

Rode an Elephant in Thailand

Chased dolphins in Bali, watched whales in Bermuda and New Zealand and swam with sharks in Thailand and The Galapagos Islands

Got into a big shouting match with an armed MP in Laos (me speaking English, him in Lao) and didn't get shot/arrested/beaten up.

Met my Wife in Cambodia, got engaged in Thailand, got married in San Francisco.

Worked in Bermuda

Emigrated to Australia

Doesn't everyone get fined for over staying in Thailand? I meant, doesn't everyone over stay in Thailand? Last I heard the fine was 100 Baht per day so thats about $3.00 USD? $90 Us a month give or take. I met a guy in Phuket that hadn't left the country in 13 years, he's working but with no working permit, he figured it would be easer to deal with the fines later and enjoy the life

Kidding. !0 things you have your lifetime to achieve, so even if you're in your 70's there are truly amazing things that can be done. You could be the oldest man to walk the Great Wall?

Life's not over till it's over. (I know someone said that first, but I don't know who it is )

My bucket list is constantly revised, at one time I wished to be in the circus, but with time that faded. Bucket lists are great and needed, at least for me. I have a few on my bucket list that I will eventually cross off as completed as well as one or two that I doubt will be. You never know Summer Glau, Olivia Wilde and Jennifer Morrison might all be available at the same time and the Hilton will have the price reduction at that time, you never now

They also make a record of you and add a very unusual stamp in your passport. Luckily it doesn't stop you going to Thailand again, otherwise I would not have been able to get engaged there.

I've met many people that over stayed their Thai Visa's, most of them just pay the fine. Here in Malaysia, you are arrested and spend some quality time at the Immigration holding area at KLIA, I have heard it's not as bad as Pudu Prison, but no were near as nice as a Canadian prison There is also an Immigration prison up North by the Thai/Malaysian border, supposed to be very scary!

Not on my Bucket list!

I love Halifax. It's getting tired these days. Barrington Street has really slid downhill. The Historic Properties has become nothing but a shed with a couple of diehard shops remaining. Statutes and bylaws accumulate like unswept litter, but I still love this little rockbound pocket of sea water and stubborn bluenose attitude.

I understand everything else but why would you want to build a printer? I'll admit it's a surprising thing to do though. Have you tried building an arcade cabinet using Mame - that might appeal as well.
