Speaking of beautiful covers, here's the sleeve I got for my PB 360°. Quality is amazing, customer service was exceptional, I'm so happy I had to share

I am sitting here looking at my KindleDX in it's red, black, burgundy, orange, brown, and gold netbook sleeve. Now my K3 is in a cloth bag with the name Rodriquez on it. The bag originally held a half-kilo of coffee from Oaxaca. Now it has a cork panel for a bit of rigidity and cushion and my K3.

Yes, some cases and covers are ridiculously priced but I've learned that some--and I won't stereotype the gender and where there from--prefer ridiculously priced items. Someone waved their Rolex in my face and told me what it cost so I waved my Casio in their face and told what it cost. I was told I was rude but I thought it beat being stupid. However someone wishes to spend their money is their business. I just wish everyone spending my money would just be a little more reasonable.

I've been searching everywhere for a case that would fit my Aluratek Libre Color. I did buy one online, but think it might be 1 cm or so too short. Waiting for it to arrive.
The Aluratek cover on their site seems to be for the Pro, and also not going to fit the ALC.

So, I looked online for ideas to make my own, since I wanted something that would be able to fold open like a book, protect the reader from most bumps and scratches, but also be able to close up and be secure.

Concocting a few ideas, my husband set himself to work while I was out and now I have a secure cover, using an old leather dayplanner cover. It is a bit more bulky than I wanted, though, but it can be switched over later if need be.

I'll try to upload a picture here; it is on my 4Shared drive.

Link if picture doesn't work.

Happy reading!

Made one ourselves, using fabric, hot glue, an old ring binder-type dayplanner and common sense. It works, although it might not be as pretty as some of the other expensive ones. At least it has a real leather cover, as old as the hills, that used to belong to my mom!

Hope it works to insert the link from the album created here on MobileRead.

I'm think of using these... at 41p less then 50 cents a pop... you can afford to chuck them as soon as they look slightly shabby... and let's face it, they are not going to draw attention to themselves...
