So, in this situation forbid is not really the most appropriate word to use.

The original poster could have requested that contributors avoid mentioning any dictionary in their replies, but they would be unable to prevent them from doing so. So, forbidding them from doing so would be quite pointless.

Nobody has said that you are not allowed to mention the lack of a dictionary. You chose to mention the lack of any dictionary. Someone else simply reminded you that a dictionary is not included in the OP's list of requirements.

Some of your comments seem to be rather abrasive. Perhaps this is not what you intended. For example, saying, "you do not want us to talk about this function" could be interpreted as you accusing someone of something. If you want to avoid causing offense, then I suggest that if you are unsure about why someone has said something, you ask them politely to explain their comments, rather than jump to conclusions about their meaning. Here are some examples of less aggressive, or more tactful, ways of saying the same thing:
It seems to me that you don't want to talk about this
I get the impression that you don't want to discuss this point
Apparently I am not supposed to discuss this point
Is there any reason why this point cannot be discussed?
Etc.
Thank you !
Now can you help me to rewrite this in the most polite manner ?

Sony 300 doesn't have a good contrast.
Sony 300 doesn't have a built in dictionary.
Sony 300 doesn't have the pearl screen technology.
Kindle is by far better than any Sony eReader. One guy wanted to sell a PRS600 for 80 dollars, i did want to buy it. I didn't like their touch screen concept , I don't like really their weird pen !
All Sony eReaders are badly designed, cold, strange colors.
I like so much Kindle 3, the smartest ereader i have even see.

I haven't seen or used a Sony 300, so I would automatically defer to someone who has. If you read post #49 by kc24zz you will see that they have a Sony PRS 505 and seem to be quite knowledgeable about the Sony 300.

Apparently you don't have any e-reader. I don't know whether you have seen or used a Sony 300, however you have indicated that you don't like any Sony e-readers. Clearly you like the Kindle 3 very much.

"Sony 300 doesn't have a good contrast."
Unless this is an indisputable fact, or it is the general consensus, I suggest that you qualify this as being your opinion. If you think it is fact, then you should be prepared to provide some evidence, as someone more knowledgeable than you might challenge you about this. You could qualify your statement by saying something like this: I believe; I understand; as I understand it; I have read that; in my opinion; it is my belief that; ... etc.

"Sony 300 doesn't have a built in dictionary."
kc24zz confirmed this in post #53, so this seems to be a fact and your statement should not cause any offense.

This a sweeping statement. Naturally, you are perfectly entitled to express your opinion. Assuming your statement were true, unless you are looking for an argument, it would be more polite if you qualified this as being your opinion, by preceding it with something like, "In my opinion ..."

"One guy wanted to sell a PRS600 for 80 dollars, i did want to buy it. I didn't like their touch screen concept , I don't like really their weird pen !"
Fine. So, you don't like using a touch-screen and pen. There is nothing wrong with that, because you are qualifying your statement by saying, "... I don't like ...". Some people like touch-screen technology and some don't. Clearly you like the Kindle and it would seem to be the right e-reader for you. Of course, it does not follow that everyone else should be required to use/like the Kindle. Different people have different tastes.

Fine. When you buy one then you'll be able to change Device: None to Device: Kindle 3.

All right, I will gladly try to help you with this as well, if I can, but please understand that I am not an English teacher! So, these are just a few of my suggestions and others here might be better qualified to help you.

"Sony 300 doesn't have a good contrast."
In my opinion, the Sony 300 doesn't have very good contrast.
In my opinion, contrast on the Sony 300 isn't very good.

"Sony 300 doesn't have a built in dictionary."
The Sony 300 doesn't have a built-in dictionary.

"Sony 300 doesn't have the pearl screen technology."
The Sony 300 doesn't use E Ink Pearl technology.
The Sony 300 doesn't have an E Ink Pearl display.
The Sony 300 doesn't have an E Ink Pearl screen.

"Kindle is by far better than any Sony eReader. One guy wanted to sell a PRS600 for 80 dollars, i did want to buy it. I didn't like their touch screen concept , I don't like really their weird pen !"
The Kindle 3 is far better than any Sony e-reader. One guy was selling a PRS-600 for 80 dollars and I was interested in buying it. However, I didn't like the concept of a touch-screen, or the pen, which I think is really weird.

"All Sony eReaders are badly designed, cold, strange colors."
I think all Sony e-readers are badly designed, they feel cold to me and I find the choice of colors strange.

"I like so much Kindle 3, the smartest ereader i have even see."
I like the Kindle 3 very much. I think it is the smartest e-reader that I have ever seen.

To the OP:

I have the PRS-300 and i have no issues with the glare. It doesn't seem any glarier(heehee made up word) than my new PRS-650. They both have their uses to me but and I love both pretty much equally.
