Windy, windy, windy here. Gusts to 50 mph all night and all day....but quite warm despite all that.

B'ham weather is too weird to just give a simple reply. This morning, it was 49 degrees and foggy. At lunch, it was very warm in the 60's and sunny. Now it is still warm but storm clouds are gathering. Let's see, we had locusts earlier this week, so today's phenomenon might be flaming hailstones? There's still 4 more hours of daylight for the next climate change to occur.
I'm personally looking forward to the 100+ and 35 days without rain. I love to sit in the sun and doze until I stop sweating - the first warning sign of heat stroke. When you stop sweating, that means it's time to go get a diet Pepsi and a baseball cap. It's too hot to read when it's like that, so there's nothing to do but sit there baking and monitoring your sweat. Having been born and raised down here, my natural habitat is hot and humid. I wilt and perish in cold. Right now, it's 64 degrees, and I have my little heater under my desk cranked up to "high." |

Actually, so am I. Sit on the shaded patio and watch the lizards and the birds, and the occasional dragonfly (I have some water lily tubs.) Sometime a big ole swallowtail comes flitting by. Smell the roses as they bloom.... |
