Thanks, Davidfor. The reimaging was a success. Unfortunately what I thought was a screw wasn't, and I seem to have messed up the refreshing of the screen. The screen is very faint and text fades away. But, on the postive side I now know how to reimage a Kobo WiFi.

Hi, I was handed down an old Kobo Wireless eReader (N647B) and made the mistake of trying to update it. It now won't start. Sounds like I need to reimage the device with the internal SD card. Davidfor, are you able to help get the SD card image. Thanks!
