At least they won't hit puberty all at once. Guess you'll have two shifts, first the two eldest children, then the two youngest. Hmmm, maybe that's even worse than all of them pubering (is that a word ?) at the same time.

your tea trivia for the day, about caffeine in tea;
Caffeine occurs naturally in tea. A mild stimulant, it accounts for tea’s reputation as a beverage that clears the mind and lifts the spirit. On average, a six-ounce cup of black tea has about 50 milligrams of caffeine—less than half the amount in a cup of brewed coffee. The smaller the leaf, the stronger the extraction of caffeine. Using comparable amounts and steeping times, a tea bag filled with cut leaves will release more caffeine per cup than full-leaf tea. The more oxidized the tea – as in black tea – the greater its caffeine content. Green tea and 100% White Tea, which are not oxidized, have less caffeine per cup than black tea. In between we have oolong tea, which is semi-oxidized and has about half as much caffeine as black tea. |

![]() You caught me! My tea has 1% (sic!) cranberry, 5% cranberry flavouring! It has a bit of mint, though, as well as Hibiscus and Rosehip, which is actually a really nice combo. |

My Mom had four kids, the eldest are 1 1/2 apart (they stillc an't talk to each other civilly. Well one, can't and one is just fine), the rest of us are 4 years apart. We all have ADHD. I am surprised that my Mother doesn't drink more. |

After a fantastic cup of Keemun and a small break, a cup of Bancha Houjicha (or as they put it Houjicha is essentially roasted Bancha). I didn't see any difference between Bancha, Kokeicha or Sencha Yamato. However, Bancha Houjicha is a different kettle of fish. To a certain degree it reminds of me of brown oolong.

Regular Coke.
I was raised as an only child (I have a half sister I met once). But Chris...lord I pity his poor mother. They have six kids. Chris is the oldest, at 39. Pat is the youngest, at 19(?). In between there are Genni, Brian, Amy, and Peter. I guess it toughened up Chris's mom, as she's been through health issues that would have killed a lesser woman. |
