That being said: a cup of Chinese Blossom tea

A premium black tea has roughly half the caffeine as the equal amount of coffee. So two cups of 'good' tea would give you the same caffeine fix as one cup of coffee. But... it needs to be a premium black tea. Some type of quality Keemun, Assam, Ceylon, Darjeeling, China Black, etc, with the emphasis on 'quality.' Or... double the dose in one large mug. Tea you can almost chew... That works for me!

Dirt...sounds familiar and I actually can imagine its taste and I think I could associate Pu-Erh's taste with dirt

Every weekday morning I drink a cup of Assam Mangalam or Assam BPS CL Mangalam...
I have given it a much easier and right to the point nick: Assam Hammer. It is sooo strong.
If you can see it on the pictures the leaves are made into small pellets but I still put one spoon per 300ml cup/mug. I guess it is a lot more concentrated than usual tea leaves. Here you go with the caffeine deficiency

I'm working on some Bigelow English Breakfast tea that I brought back from Florida. I think I'm going to have to import this stuff. I like it!

Your Doctor will tell you what you already know. You have an addiction to caffeine and the only way to stop the headaches is to wait out the withdrawal headaches. Which sucks but a week or two of feeling crappy or how many years of upset stomach and headaches?

I swear, caffeine withdrawl is just as bad as nicotine withdrawl, at least based on what I have read. But your body will thank you for it after you complete the process.

I had a friend who drank a 12 pack of Coke a day. She gave it up for lent one year. She was miserable for a week and then felt fine after that. Now she drinks a 6 pack a day, hey it is progress.
