I bought a "broken or for parts" Clara HD that freezes every now and often. It freezes more frequently when the processor has to work hard like using the beta browser and such.

I want to start off with a fresh SD card and image since I don't trust the current SD/image combo. The charging counter says "%n hours until full". Seems to me like some corruption on the card is already happened.

Can someone provide me with a known working image?

hi, can anyone help me. My kobo clara hd is blocked, it doesnt turn on. I change the battery but it the same. I think it could be the image because it bricked when it updated. Can you send me the clara hd sd image?

I think the issue is with the SD card. Want to swap it out. Can I please get the link for the image? Additionally, what are the steps for imaging a new SD card? Do we still have to divide the sd card into 3 partitions?

@pheonixandeagle: You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator.

The image needs to be written to the card with an appropriate tool or command. The image include the partitioning, so you don't need to do anything else.

When you got hold of the image you can use Win32diskimager to write the image file to your new SD card. When the SD card is bigger than the old one you will need to extend the FAT32 partition all the way. You can use tools like Minitool Partition Manager to do this.

Good luck in restoring the image.

I have a Kobo Glo HD (N437) that won't start anymore. I've tried the double-tap reset and other suggestions from the forums but the problem is still there. Can someone send me a link to download the SD image for this reader? Thanks in advance.
