The rain finally stopped and the puddles are going down. I still have to get the drainage trench dug and pipe put down before we really have the rains this year. *Sigh* I'm really hoping I can get my brother and his son to help. I have to move 2 yards of rock to even start to dig - going to rent a trencher for this job as we have to trench 90 feet to the front. I am not going to spend this year out in the rain with the sump pump again as it creeps up the patio toward the back door. *sigh* my fault for not doing this before I put rock down..

Rain, rain and more rain.

My little dog will not 'go' on newspaper nor anything else, and consequently she has been walking cross-legged.

It's warm, but really soggy outside. Picture this; my hubby in shorts and golf shirt, with gumboots on, and holding a massive beach umbrella. He is holding said brolly over a tiny chihuahua, and saying soothingly and lovingly "Come on Daddy's baby, make wee-wee's and potty for Daddy".

No wonder I love him.

Well, I do mind... It's colder when it's +3 and raining than when it's -15 and snowing... (in both cases, without wind)

Oh my - what a visual! He definitely sounds like a "keeper" [as long as you have fussy chihuahuas in the family!

Farking cold here! 6" of snow on the ground. Roads a mess. Drive to work with a co-worker - who has 4-wheel drive. Winds gusting to 30 mph! Tree limbs will be a-falling!

BUT - hold on to your hats! In the 60's on Saturday! [I guess Kenny's weather is finally moving into its rightful location!]

Yep, warmth on the way chickie.... a bit cooler today 28F at the moment in the upper 40's later.....I'm staying in and working on artwork.
