Thanks, tubemonkey. (Would you believe that even after I typed each letter in individually that Swype still insisted on changing "tubemonkey" to "gynecologist"? I guess because the words look so very simular.)

Funny thing is, my Calm Radio subscription comes up for renewal about the same time my Echo is due to arrive. I've been thinking of either giving it up or paying $200 for a lifetime sub. It's nice, but kind of pricy.

What about the free version? I know it has ads, but they didn't bother me when I was playing around with it yesterday. I like Classical and Composers; and wanted to try Atmospheres, but that genre isn't available in the free version.

I had the free version for a while, but the ads and the small selection size convinced me to switch. They have several different plans starting with monthly billing, but the lifetime seems the most economical. I probably will renew, as I'm a frequent listener.

I've been on the fence about keeping my order for the Echo until I saw that they've added integration with Phillips Hue. Now I can't wait to get it (still shows estimated delivery June 1 - July 7!).

Much like FireTV, Echo is a surprisingly flexible platform and becoming more so by the day. It turns out to be a trojan horse to ramp up Home Automation applications.

When did Amazon raise the price of the Echo? It's now $149 for Prime members. It used to be $99.
