Sorry guys! I'm okay. We went out today and did the weekly shopping well I did the weekly shopping something I haven't done since 2004. Usually we go together and I picked out and he lifts and pushes the cart because I am bad at running into things. So we went to Wal-Mart. I've never been there in the summer. I was melting from the heat. Haven't they heard of A/C? OMG I'm never going back there when it's hot. I felt irritable the whole time. We then had to make two more stops. One to Ingles which was wonderful because they had A/C! I am shopping there from now on. Then to Walgreens to pick up water and milk. I then had to lug it all up the stairs to our apartment. I am such a weakling because of anemia but I did it. Tomorrow I'll pay for it but I lug it all up in the pouring rain. Hubby was hurting from all the walking I told him to ride in a motorize cart but you know men. So came home took and shower and just got back on here. I did glance at the slush pile before leaving and saw nothing but just now I found this. PATIENT CARE by Bobby Hutchinson (Medical Romance) (Doctor Series) Harlequin Super Romance (2001) Former Title: All Summer Long: Temperatures Rising P.S. Enjoy your vacation Blue! I need one! lol Last edited by Blossom; 07-22-2013 at 10:01 PM. |

Oh I forgot to say I bought a book! Well hubby took me to the book section of the store and told me to pick out a book. Very small selection but the only book that caught my eye was this huge thick paperback. I told him I rather have the ebook because that would be easier to hold. After I got home I realized it had to be a reissue. No one publishes books that long anymore. So I got the ebook version. A little pricey but hubby paid for it. Heart of the West by Penelope Williamson It was published in 1995 but it's still a huge book! 800 pages! |

I finished Guild Hunters last week and I have to say I like the world building slightly better in Guild Hunters than Psy-Changelings. Other than that, great characters and believable stories. I'll be looking forward to more in each series. I'm almost finished with the Sole Regret series, my only complaints are a couple of continuity issues in one book and a homonym error. Since I'm a huge hard rock and metal (as long as it's not death metal) fan, these books are a natural for me. They're a good summer read. I'm reading Sinners on Tour next and then back to paranormal for me! |
