Hi everyone,
I hope you are doing well.
I am looking for the original SD card image for my Kobo Clara HD, as I am currently experiencing some technical issues with my device and need to perform a clean restoration.
Would someone be so kind as to share a link to the firmware image?

I would like the firmware image for a Kobo N418 Libra 2 please.

From the image list I noticed there are five versions of the image due to hardware changes. How can I tell which version I need? I bought it in 2022 and found this number in my notes: N418-KU-BK-K-EP, is this enough information?

Hello,

I have a Kobo Libra 2 (model N418) that stopped working.
The device shows a blinking LED and does not boot.

I managed to access the internal microSD card and created an image from it, but it seems to be corrupted.

Hi! Can I please get the image for the Kobo Clara HD? My device just shows a white screen when I turn it on, and I get i/o errors when I try to mount the MicroSD card on its own. The model is N249-KU-BK-K-EP, so I'm not sure if I need the original image or the rev 2. Thanks in advance!

Hi, could someone please direct me to the SD card image for a Clara 2E? It started misbehaving so I rebooted. Now it's stuck in boot and multiple manual factory resets haven't helped it boot up. It's looking pretty bricked.

Google Gemini & Microsoft Copilot are telling me there are 2 versions but there's no easy way to tell which is which (well, Gemini says there's an easy way but it's clearly wrong since its serial number info doesn't match mine).

I figure if I use the wrong version I'll just try again with the other ... ?

I've removed the SD card and it seems to work pretty well on my Mac ... at least the one partition the Mac mounts. The Linux partitions: I dunno. MacOS apparently doesn't handle ext4. Here's hoping that flashing a new SD card will help.
