You may have noticed my lack of posting about the weather (of which there was lots!) The bluddy power was off because the power line at Jessica Park took a direct hit with lightning and came down, and yes we were clobbered pretty bad. But I decided to post it in the affirmation thread because it was a good thing.

Amazingly after seeing the poor importer man cleaning up bits of broken timber and half his stock all over the road, when we got home a sheet that was on the line in the weather was still there!

p.s. my bike got wet, my shoes filled up with water and all my clothes were soaked through, despite sheltering under a bridge. Bluddy horizontal rain! getsya every time.

When it started hailing I thought bjones6416 had started trebucheting ice over again!

Uh Oh! Here comes another storm. We had our ride earlier so home safe for this one.
I will stand at the back door with glass in hand to catch that ice this time. Thanks Betty!

We copped it in the storm on Wednesday too. Hail as big as golfballs for about 10 minutes before it calmed down to 1" and further down. I came out on the verandah to watch it from the front to find 1/2 dozen builders and 3 strange cars sheltering in my large carport.
Then yesterday it came down so hard, my street flooded over the lip of my driveway and the first floor of my house is awash.
Today is 32c and more storms looming. I think the humidity inside my airconditioned workplace was 91% today and the walls and floor are gathering moisture on every surface. Monsoon weather ECK!
