How do you do fanfiction downloader cache path do you put it at the top of the personal.Ini under default because I don’t have a section labelled fanfiction

I have read that but it doesn’t help it’s doesn’t tell me where to put information it’s telling me to do it would help if there was like pictures showing you exactly where you meant to put it or does it mean that this can just go anywhere in there

I figured out how to do the edit for fanfiction downloader is there a way to do the exact same thing for fictionpress.com

Edit I just realised that the download doesn’t work for fictionpress.com even though it says it does on the website

Is anyone else finding that the use of the flaresolverr proxy to download is noticeably much slower than use of the FFD cache method?

It is. It makes sense though, as flaresolverr has to download each page fresh, while the FFD cache is already downloaded.

Still, once you set it up it's less steps than using the cache, particularly if you leave flaresolverr running in the background (I minimize to system tray to keep it out of the way).

Using flaresolverr, FFF uses the same (some what lengthy) slow_down_sleep_time setting it did before.

Using the cache, the pages are already on your local disk--FFF's 'download' in that case will be much faster.

If you refer to FFD downloading faster than FFF, it's entirely possible that FFD waits less time between requests.

Good morning (from here in Perth, Western Australia). I was updating some of my older archives this morning and when I was doing FanFicAuthors.Net I got the following error:

HTTPSConnectionPool(host='abraxan.fanficauthors.ne t', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /On_Second_Thoughts/index/ (Caused by SSLError(SSLCertVerificationError(1, '[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: certificate has expired (_ssl.c:1123)')))

When I went to the site in one of the browsers installed on my machine, I got the following when I went to one of the stories:

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to ruskbyte.fanficauthors.net. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.
It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.
What can you do about it?
The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Websites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a set time period. The certificate for ruskbyte.fanficauthors.net expired on 19/09/2021.
Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE

I can bypass it on the browser but how can I do the same in the plugin?

Thank you for getting back to me but a I think it might be the certificate on the site itself as I got a similar message when I tried the site on the Safari browser on my iPhone (please see screenshot attachment). Is there any setting in the plug-in for it to ignore this?
