I'm trying to use librariansync, with calibre, but can't install Python successfully.

I have Paperwhite 11th Gen (G0002DK) on FW 5.15.1.1 with Winterbreak,
KUAL and MRPI all working as expected.

kindle-python-0.15.N-r18981.tar.xz from Snapshots of NiLuJe's hacks does not seem compatible.

Thanks
have not seen this thread in quite a while. but the forum emailed me that the thread had a question and I saw my post quoted :-)

I don't use my kindle anymore btw. dumped it for an android e-ink reader. as even after getting librariansync to work, I ended with other more fundamental issues related to how big a library you could have. and fixing that required replacing the entire sqlite DB (as you needed either a newer DB version to support more than 4K entries (if I remember correctly) or recompile the current DB with some new flags) which was just way too much work. The slowness of the device also really bugged me.

In any case, to address the question raised, yes that is the correct version but you might need to respin it for your device so that kual can process it.

scroll up from the post here to see the discussion on how to create packages for newer models. I don't remember if I had to extract the 2.7 python package explicitly from inside that zip file before doing this btw.
