It works ok, no bug so far, but the screen still don't refresh properly when you are on some apps (menu,...). the comic mode in neo reader is a good addon, but still no support of jpeg. Last edited by un lecteur; 06-16-2015 at 10:25 AM. |

I didn't do a factory reset but I did have to uninstall and reinstall Google Play Services. Also the library app crashed until I did a rebuild of the library.

hey!
does anyone also have an issue with non-working scribble in neoreader in the last couple of updates? i don't remember since when exactly, but i can't scribble at all any more using neoreader. when i select scribble and try to write something it instead just moves the page or flips the page as it does when i'm not in scribble mode. today i reverted back to the 2015.02.04 update and scribble works. i haven't tried later versions yet to see where exactly the problem arises but will do so tomorrow. so, does anyone have the problem and/or knows a solution? ps. the scribble app works without problem with all versions. EDIT: i checked and it's since the 2015-05-06 update that scribbling does not work anymore for me. EDIT 2: after switching between versions messed up some apps of mine i decided to backup and factory reset the device using the newest version. now scribbling works. i have to say this is a pain in the ***, having to do this every time i update. i mainly bought this device because of the m92's good software and booxtor's good reputation but, well, so far it's been a bumpy ride. Anybody else suffered appalling battery life since upgrading to 1.7.2 ? Mine lasted less than 1 day 3hrs since charging with about 10 minutes use and WiFi off the whole time !

Did you remove phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk in "/system/app/"? I know that these can use a lot of the battery and are not needed for the t68. Hope this help. ![]() |

But have in mind that if you disable phone.apk you will lose Bluetooth capability. Best.

Well, I post again because I notice that if we reduce heapsize to 128mb, all apps are more stable. I've left attached a new update of my build.prop. Best.

i agree with both un lecteur and kreti, on the gsm battery app it displays that that the phone is taking up 70%. I'm just curious how your removed it or disabled it as mines is rooted and i keep getting a task failed error using file explorer; and couldn't be removed using titanium backup.

Then go on the folder "/system/app/" and normaly you can delete these two apps. Maybe it's better to cut/paste them in an other folder (if you have a problem ![]() |

kreti, is this 30% with the device going to standby, rather than completely off? Because I've renamed Phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk, turned off mobile data, have Wifi set to turn off automatically after 3 minutes of activity (but the Wifi turns on twice a day for syncing), have the device set to go to standby after 3 minutes, and after 10 hours on battery I'm already down to 75% of battery. So I'm not entirely sure what else is going on. Highest battery usage is "Screen" at 71%, which seems strange since it should be on the static standby screen for most of the time. "Wifi" is further down the list. Anyone have any thoughts as to what's going on with the battery usage? I'm on 1.7.2 like azw409.

I still have doubts whether doing anything with Phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk is really necessary. I've been fiddling with these on some previous firmware versions and noticed that even though phone related stuff is listed as if it were causing a lot of battery drainage, disabling these services does not have any significant impact on battery life. Then again, I may be wrong. Perhaps it is firmware dependent.
At the moment I'm running 1.7.0. As long as I keep wifi off, the battery goes down quite slowly - I did however turn airplane mode on and mobile data off figuring they might be a factor. |

Btw, I don't recommend to uninstall Phone.apk or TelephonyProvider.apk because you will lose the Bluetooth. Best. |
