Is it possible to include the images in a story from the literotica Illustrated section when the file is in html format?

I may be missing what you want to do, but, see https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=119175. That means the "default" filename of any book in a calibre library is based on the title and author. Changing these will change the file name. But, that means not having correct title or author in the library for the book. Which would confuse me.
So, what are you actually trying to achieve? |

Or do you mean there are stories that link to an HTML page as the image? If so, we'd need an example to look at. |

How is it not working for you? I know for a fact that it works perfectly on at least six different browsers (Chromium-based browsers do tend to be a little flaky at times due to cache issues, but it still works well most of the time if the browser cache is cleared before trying to download a fic). If you can't get it to work (or it doesn't fit your workflow if you are using CLI), the WebToPDF extension still works with fanfiction.net if you aren't adverse to re-downloading the fic every time it updates. Also, I am looking for option for default filenames in FFF (not Calibre), so I can use it both in CLI and Calibre. |

Which come back to the question of what you are trying to do. Where are you trying to sort the files? If they are in calibre, then you can't change anything, but sorting the file does not make sense. As to the FFF CLI, I can't help a I don't use it. I'm barely aware it exists. |

Take a look at Preferences > Saving Books to Disk. This'll let you assign a filename template when you use Calibre's 'save to disk' function.

Question: When downloading only one chapter of a work (e.g. one of those huge multifandom things on AO3), is there a way to use the chapter name for the title, or would manually editing it be the better option?

You could use personal.ini and replace_metadata to change the title, but that doesn't work well if you want more than one from the same story.
I think the easiest might be to split chapters off using EpubSplit. It uses the chapter name as title when extracting individual chapters. |

Do you have any of the old copies of the FanFicFare plugin? I wanted to look over the code and learn how some things were done in the different versions. If not that is fine. Just wanting to learn some coding on it. I looked at the Github but I only see the latest versions.
