Hello David.

Thank you for your generous support. The software on the microSD card of my Kobo Glo HD has been corrupted. I think I will need a new disk image in order to recover from this problem.

My Kobo Glo HD keeps saying that the battery is low. Already replaced the battery but no difference. Could I please get an image for the SD to try?

Anybody other ideas?

I have sent you a PM with the link, but I really don't think it will help. A factory reset might help as it will reset everything on the root partition and maybe that will force a recalibration of the battery.

The usual recommendation for charging level issues with Li-Ion batteries is to recalibrate them. That is done by fully charging and discharging a couple of times. The discharging for an ereader is the problem as they are designed not to use battery. It usually takes ages.

Hello,

could you please send me a copy of the glo HD sd card image ?
My reader was working well until yesterday. When i switched it on, i had a quick message showing RESTORATION .. then nothing more.
Now, when i try to boot, i can sometime have a black screen flashing once or two, then nothing more. Red light can stay on if i insist.

I've tried a battery full charging but without success.. So i'm investigating the sd card corruption.

I'd appreciate a Glo HD image. My device is having weird issues, and I'm going to try a new SD card, but if that doesn't work I think my next try is going to be a fresh image.

And Sd card is working now !
