Yeah, well I knew Kris Kristofferson wrote it as Bobby McGee being female, but thought maybe a change is sex had been in order for when Joplin had the big hit with it. Or then again maybe not . . .

So were you among the crowd booing Dylan when he went electric at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965?

I was actually the opposite. I really only started listening to music and paying much attention to it as a teenager. For me then it was strictly rock 'n roll, gradually moving back to encompass bands from before my time. I really only expanded my musical knowledge and tastes once I enter college.

I would never have been able to name that tune by The Clash, but I do recall them from hits they had on MTV in the 1980s.

Triple points for this gem!

But I have to declare Stitchawl the winner because of his HUGE number of points.

Take it away Stichy.

Absolutely! I was one of the folkies who used to play in Greenwhich Village in the early '60's, passing the plate in the various coffee houses on W.4th St. after a day of playing music in Washington Square. Anyone trying to play electric style or even rock was booed away!

OK, let's see if the success of these multi-answer questions can continue;

Name the most songs that have Geographic locations in the title, such as
"Moon over Miami" or "Springtime in Vermont."
