A spatchcock chicken with roasted potatoes, carrots and maple pecan bacon Brussels sprouts. Served with a pretty decent Castoro de Oro unoaked Chardonnay.

I'm on break for a couple of weeks so indulging myself in the kitchen.

Using definition #1, one of my favourite places to spend some pleasant hours.

Hmmm... someone who prepares food for ingestion is the definition I would choose.

A good cook can follow a recipe. A great cook makes it better. A good cook creates a meal you will enjoy and forget 15 minutes later. A great cook creates a meal that you will remember for a long time. A good cook knows the rules and follows them. A great cook knows the rules and know when and how to break them.
