Here is one more for your records:

I bought PW4 on Prime Day:
8gb wifi SO 9097 and it came with 5.10.1.3.

There was one more option at checkout: with or without free 3-months Kindle Unlimited. I chose without. (At least I think it was 3 months... However long, I did not want it!)

Thanks! Seems like Amazon US (at least) still has some PW4 5.10.1.3 stock so there's still a chance of getting a jailbreakable device when buying new.

hello guys, i bought yesterday a PW 4 and there was out of the Box 5.10.1.3 as Firmware. Should i replace it to get a new one on other firmware? it is G000PP. im living in Germany.

Those are the list of highest factory firmware available for different Kindle models.

You're in luck. There's factory firmware for 5.10.1.3 so yours is jailbreakable.

5.10.1.3 is jailbreakable on PW4

I don't think I've seen coplate in a while. I expect the reason the first post here wasn't updated is because @NiLuJe helpfully created a centralized thread.

Kindle oasis 32G 4GLTE version.
It was "G00 WQ04 **** ****".

I got it from the prime day last week, Amazon Germany. 8GB without special offers and WIFI only.
(G0000 PP11 9144) with FW 5.10.1.3
