This is an odd one. I visited this app page on Amazon's App Store and there's a little box that says:



"Download now" links to the Hay Day game page. (That's a direct link, not the link provided on the first page, in case that one has user specific codes in it.)

I've searched about the promo and only really found someone who said they got an E-mail about it, and were asking how to tell for sure they have the credit. So this may be a targeted offer. Or it may be available to everyone. If you can see the little box telling you about the promo, you probably qualify for it.

I tried downloading and running the game, and I can't see any way to tell if I have the credit or not. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

Since it's only for in-app purchases for that game, there's a good chance the credit won't be listed anywhere. I won't be trying it, since that game holds no appeal for me.

Could be, I do have a 1st gen Kindle Fire on my account.

Did you find any way to see if the credit was going to be used before using it? I couldn't find any way myself, and didn't like the game enough to risk trying it.

No, could not find a way to tell except by playing the game. I'll take some screenshots, first, but in the past, the credit would show up in-game, as you "bought" some free item (usually where you get a specific item free, which you could not do without playing the game, sometimes past a tutorial, to get to the store screen).

There's a new free download of the week from Classical-music.com available.

Trying the first code, I got this error message: "The code you entered has already been redeemed."

The second code worked, but once I redeemed it, I found out that you had to have a smartphone or tablet. I have neither. I hope that that code wasn't a one-time code. It looks like they could have said something about what platforms the subscription was available on before a person redeemed the code.

Apparently it is not against the thread rules to post magazine, newspaper, etc. subscriptions. I posted one a few days ago, after going through the rules on the O.P. with a fine tooth comb, and no one said anything against it. I'm sure that the mods don't want the thread to become cluttered with discount subscriptions to magazines and such, though.

I don't know how well it still works but you may be able to link the sub to nook for pc.

I started my sub but haven't finished the linking process yet. Was kinda tired, will let you know what I find.

The easiest way to free magazines is Mercury Magazines. (Google it) They have some product or company sponsor free subscriptions.

You just want to be sure to use an email address you don't care gets spammed. I've gotten Popular Science, Popular Mechanics, Elle, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Marie Claire, Better Home & Gardens, Self, Men's Health and a whole lot more. Most are print subscriptions but some are digital. You gotta be quick though. When you get the offer in your email go for it. I get about 2 to 3 offers a week but only sign up for magazines we will read.

I have anything they send from Mercury Magazines set to forward to my main email on my tablet. I've been doing this for about three years now there is absolutely no cost at all.
