Anyone else have a problem with the past freebies disappearing? I've have two missing from my library and the listing for them is now not in the store.

I had that problem with one day of titles, though fortunately it was one I didn't care about. I found the reason for it was that I just went to the title through the app and hit download. Since it was the free title for the day it worked but treated me like I didn't have an account. To make sure this didn't happen to me again I followed the instructions you suggested: instead of clicking download, I clicked on the streaming option (I do it from the website on my computer but this would likely work from the app as well). After the preview streams it asks if you want to continue. If you say yes the title gets added to your account.

While I've been happy with their service, I hate their web site and app. Just let me d/l to my computer and do everything from there. From that standpoint I think Downpour is much better.

I seem to have all of mine: 13 titles.

Gee, that's unfortunate! I have not had the same problem, but then I always login and then wait for confirmation that the audiobook has been downloaded to my Android device. I then back up the audiobooks from my device to my laptop.

I wonder if Audiobooks.com Customer support would give you the ebooks if you reported this problem to them? You're not the only one in this thread to indicate you've experienced it, and since it's likely more widespread than that, Audiobooks.com is probably aware of it. Because of that, I hope, they might be inclined to accommodate you.

So, it looks like once they remove a book from the store, it disappears from your library, as well. I've sent a note asking about the problem, will try to remember to update if they reply.

Guess I need to ALSO download each day, not just add to cloud. That's not possible always, here, due to poor download speeds.

Ah, now I understand. I wasn't looking at the right problem. I can confirm that at least 1 of the 2 (I missed the other) is missing from my library. My guess is the same as yours - they pull it globally when they remove the title. Another reason to not like this site. Keep us informed in you get any love from customer service.

I've also emailed CS. I don't particularly care about these two titles, but do want to know if this is a bigger overall potential issue where they pull stuff from peoples accounts if they lose the rights to sell a title or something.

It's the Dr. Who one and the cat one for me.


EDIT: I just looked in the iPhone app and there all books show for me. Rechecked the website and the two are still missing there.
