So books 2-4 are free, but book 1 isn't. Seems kind of backwards. I'm not complaining, just not what I usually see.

I really shouldn't be downloading any of them, at least not until I get my existing collection under control. It's always a work in progress, but I've really let things slide lately.

It's because the author is self pubbing 2-4, but her publisher still holds the rights to book 1 in the US. IIRC the last time these were free book one was free in some regions where she was able to self-pub it.

I grabbed one when Kobo was letting us buy everything with coupons. I think she should get her rights back so she can get the first one too.

Note, the only one I don't have is Addicted to You by Colina Brennan and this one sort of angers me because I LOVED Addicted to You by Krista Ritchie and it's about sex addiction also. It's one of the rare books I gave 5 stars, so not sure if this is all a coincidence or if this author is ripping off Krista Ritchie. Also, Catching Liam I have but the author's name was Sophia Bleu when I bought it. How the heck or why would you change the authors' name? Anyways, some of these are book 2 in series so be warned, not sure if they're just companion novels or if book 1's were cliffhangers.

Oh, it is good! You don't necessarily need to read them in order, either, unless you have a compulsion to read a series that way. But I read Breaking Point first and absolutely loved it. Then went back to read the others. The characters are interconnected, but the stories are all stand alone.

They are all about female reporters, part of a group called the I-Team, so if this is an issue then this series would definitely not work for you!
