I have UAC turned off in Windows, so entering in my root password in Ubuntu every time I turn around is even more annoying because I don't usually deal with that very much in Windows.

what is it that you need to reconfig that often?
(i hereby admit it might be an ubuntu problem I don't know since I use aptosid)
