I doubt it's any consolation, but I've had no trouble with it at all, other than software (%*&&^%&%&^% ADOBE) deactivating the RC.

I've got a rather sore neck. I've been interviewing job applicants all day, and suspect that it's from leaning forward, nodding in an encouraging manner, whenever they said anything relevant. Next time, I shall excercise my eyebrows instead.

Stomach bug... bleh... on the up side, I think (hope?) I lost 15 pounds in the last two days!

Geoff, win7 is bringing you closer to inner peace in helping you to control your violent emotions. Think about it, Windows is reshaping the world, one bug at a time...

Well they always say job interviewing is a pain in the .... neck!

Hope it's better soon. I hate cricks in my neck/shoulders about as much as anything.

Just a quick vent, I promise.

Chroming (inhaling solvents) has got to be the most depressing thing I've ever seen kids doing to themselves. And I've seen and heard a fair bit over the years. Sometimes I hate Ipswich with a passion - every now and then I feel this thick cloud of hopelessness over the whole place. I have no idea what the hell to do about it.

That's how I sometimes felt about Surry Hills and Parramatta, particularly the latter (Surry Hills was more grog problems; while Parramatta was more drug problems). I only worked at Parra though. Surry Hills was a great place to live, but consciousness of degrees of "hopelessness" were always ready to pointedly intrude. Perhaps that's a good thing (from an "awareness" perspective).

Cheers,
Marc

Yup.

I'd prefer awareness over careful blindness... but DAMN, the sheer numbers of people whose 'rough patches' are stretching over several generations, around here So many of the kids I meet on the trains seem to have no hope of things improving for them, ever.

IMO Microsoft has yet to top Windows XP. Thus I'm sticking with it for as long as possible. (though unfortunately this laptop is really starting to show its age)

Serious? I thought that was just something kids did back in the late 70's and early 80's. How stupid.
