I followed the advice and put in a US address (one without state tax) before going looking for the book I wanted, and hey presto, got the new look page, which then let me use the 90% code.

I'm now trying to be strong and not go back for more!

I checked the US store without logging in, and found that the book I wanted was on sale at around 80% off the regular price (which is still the only price on my usual Hong Kong store). Not couponable, it seems, or I'd end up with a net 98% discount. Maybe for once I'll buy a book from Kobo without using a coupon. I forget how that feels.

Nah, it took them two to three weeks in October (?) when they had the same Receipts software glitch.

Although I for one don't think I've got the stamina to keep up this sheer mania to BUY ..... (or a deep enough wallet, even when the books are so cheap)

For me it's been 48 books for under £25. Including gems such as the Judge Dee Mysteries from the University of Chicago press, and the latest in David Weber's Safehold series.

I've blown my book budget for March, and probably for April, May and June as well.

It was worth it!

I'm now in the extraordinary position of not having any couponable books on my buy list.

I don't know if someone gave you an answer already. More likely those three books state they can be read on eReaders because their format is kepub (and not epub). If you have a Kobo ereader try to download them via WIFI. Otherwise, you can have them on your computer (Kobo desktop) and from there I don't know the steps but you can find them in the Kobo forum.
