Yup.
Although, it kinda reminds me of when I was a kid, and I'd be waiting YEARS for the next Robert Jordan book in The Wheel of Time to come out. AFAIK Jordan stopped writing Conan stories before he started the Wheel of Time. The books just took longer and longer to write. To be fair, even for Sanderson it took quite some time to write the last volumes and his writing speed is really high.

I don't mind a book a year or even a book every year and a half, as long as the quality is great. I'd rather wait some more, than to read a mediocre Dresden book...

This was really bugging me, so I did a quick search. You're absolutely right about the timeline of Jordan's Conan books. What I saw in the bookstore all those years ago must have been one of the omnibus editions of Jordan's work republished in 1995 or 1999 by Tor.
Now I almost feel bad about cussing out Jordan at the time.

Wow, Clementine was a pretty good read. But, afterward I seemed to need to take a break from the Steampunk genre. I tried starting to read a couple new selections in the genre and quickly put them aside for later and picked a non-Steampunk selection to read next. Oh well!
