We are renovating our up stairs bathroom. It was going to be this simple thing and now it has become a big pain. Hopefully it will all be worth while.

There was a really old and ugly counter in there and we are going to replace it with a pedestal sink to give the room a more open feel.

Then we will repaint and tile the bathroom. Luckily I have been both a plumber and a tile setter.

Anyway, What am I doing RIGHT NOW? I'm letting my hair dry, thinking about what to eat before work, and contemplating buying a book (or two or three). And to everyone who thinks I should chill, or relax, or be a happy little camper: I move in two weeks; need to paint 2 rooms here before I leave, repaint the whole apartment where I'm going (ideally before I get there, because it is pink all over, seriously, even the ceilings are pink, it's scary); still work full time (8 days to go!!) and find a new job before July 10th if I don't want to get involved in the oldest of trades...

But summer's here!!!

Skies are blue, flowers are blooming, the breeze is carressing... It's extraordinary! Don't you all love it?
