Oh come on- I dont know what either of those are! Common flowering shrub with pink, purple or red flowers, often a combination of all three colours.

Yes but the fuchsia is still a shrub-it has woody stems-even the hanging ones. The original fuchscia was a shrub found in Chile by a gentleman called Fuchs! and the one this fruit is from is the garden shrub Fuchsia magellanica:
