I think we're only going ti be able to get a .bin file from someone who has a hack on their Kindle. If the file is pulled after the update has been run, it seems to fail on 'other' devices

Yes. Mine is relatively new - purchased in Jan of this year. So I guess I'm at the end of the line (almost).

You will get the upgrade when you get it. The KindleBoards are ripe with Whinning Wendys wanting to know why they are picked upon and have yet to receive the 2.5. Of course, when they get it, stand back because they will be disappointed and crying that it isn't what they wanted. Gad, my headache is coming back. They were happy with the 2.3.3 version, UNTIL the 2.5 version was announced and they don't have it. Now, they are unhappy with Amazon, Kindle, life, ebooks. hair gel, the sun, and so on. Gad, now my head ache is really getting worst.

That is not true! Kindlers have been wanting collections since day 1. This has been a HUGH issue and now that Amazon has finally done somethig for us they limit the release. It is Amazon who has created the environment of haves and have nots. They could easily fix this by POSTING THE BINS!

You are mad because you don't have collections? What about the other 1.980+/- that don't have it either. The haves and have nots. Are you kidding me? It is an upgrade to a software. Give me a break! In less than 15 days you will be one of the "HAVES". Buy a Yoga book and relax. You are not talking about years.

BTW, I just read a blogger who has the update. He said it will take about 2 minutes to put a book into a 'collection" If that is true, that is worth getting Pi***ed off about.
