I have an HTML page created with links to some book sites, after I upgraded to 2.0 when I click on a clink I get this message "This device does not support opening internet links: cannot open http://....."

Hopefully someone can port a simple web browser for this device, it was great to be able to go to mobileread to download ebooks when away from the PC.
Keep in mind that such uses are technically against the ToS. I don't know if Verizon would ever block your 3G access for unauthorized usage, but it's possible.

I'm not a big fan of the current ebook mall anyway. And I would be willing to pay a small fee to have access to the sites I want to get books from.

I guess we will have to wait and see if the ebook mall is successful for iRex.

I typically buy/download eBooks from my PC, and then load them via USB to the device. You have more choice in sites that way.

Hello all, I am searching for a E-book reader with as much HTML support as possible in offline. Can somebody confirm that with the device being discussed here I can (on PC) download a site converting links to local, copy the resulting folder structure to the memory card of the device and then surf it on the device in offline, following links?
Also, please tell me what other devices have such html capabilities
