I was elated from the outset but the shortcomings of my Sony have become increasingly annoying and I'm ready to move on. My 505 will be a nice backup to my next device (as yet unknown).

Totally agree.
I hope ebook readers' makers keep that in mind and stop adding bulky, battery depleting, unneeded bells and whistles.

I love my K2. It does exactly what I bought it to do. There are a few things I'd like to see change in the software, such as the much sought after folders/tags capabilities. But, I can still read for hours on it, so I can't really complain. =)

I wonder what a similar poll would reveal if "satisfaction with quality, availability, and price of ebooks" instead of the readers would result in.

I'm very happy with my Nook, and was very happy with my PRS-505 before that. I love reading on the e-ink screen; both readers are easy to use; they're both a comfortable size and support easy-to-find formats... and when I switched to the Nook, I got better formatting and wireless book-buying. There are minor improvements I'd like, of course, but I'd still count myself as "very satisfied."
