Too bad their not available as ebooks yet. The Dance of Voodoo Handbag looked pretty good. Necrophenia is available in a Kindle edition somewhere, but not in the U.S.

Okay, I admit I don't *specifically* know of any Lupin/Snape two-werewolves-with-gypsies fanfic. But I know of enough Lupin/Snape stories to believe I could find one with those features if I cared to. (I don't read Snupin. I read Snarry. We get vampires, not werewolves.)

If you do some googling with his name and your favourite method of downloading at the end you'll get most of his back catalogue within minutes. I just don't see why these aren't being released. I'd have bought them in a snap (at reasonable rates of course). A quick passthrough on Calibre and you're away for some Rankin goodness on your Kindle

I heard he conducted tours of Brentford for fans!
And his genre is Far-Fetched Fiction (FFF) if you must know, so that his books can have a whole section to themselves in bookstores. I don't think booksellers ever realized it though...

My office isn't exactly what you'd call fancy. There's a desk I sit at and a chair I sit on. There's a watercooler that ain't too cool and a fan that don't write me no letters. A telephone that won't speak to me and a carpet I wouldn't pass the time of day with if it did.
I got a hat stand without a hat to stand on and a filing cabinet full of memories. Oh yeah, and I got a door.
And that's where I come in. The name's Woodbine. Lazlo Woodbine. Private Eye. And although this is page 28 and there's been a lot of coming and going that I ain't had a hand in, I happen to be the real hero of this little epic.
I think that's Lazlo's first appearance. I've got to re-read soon...

As long as there are plenty of daring rooftop showdowns and the like. But we could just sit around talking toot

I work just the four locations. An office where my clients come. A bar where I talk a load of old toot and where the dame that does me wrong bops me on the head at the beginning of the case. An alleyway, where I get into tricky situations, and a rooftop where I have my final confrontation with the villain.
Has anyone noticed that we are talking toot and chewing the fat and we're wayyy off topic? But it almost always happens sooner or later, so it must be a tradition or an old charter or something

Ok I'll stop now

Definitely an 'old charter or something'. That's it, I'm re-reading Rankin this weekend come hell or high water.

You might hate his stuff though. And it could all hinge on whether you know the grand old british tradition of 'owning an allotment'
