I have the 600, and I really like the Sony cover. I don't think you can find a smaller cover than that, which makes for a very slim package. And it makes use of the mounting holes in the device.

I have a Sony 900 and I am hoping I can find a better cover. I have the hard cover that came with it. And it isn't bad, great for protection.

However, it DOES NOT fit into my purse. Which is a must for me; I am too clutzy to try to carry a reader and my purse and I don't leave home without it (purse).

The 900 does fit into my purse with just in the regular cover that comes with it. But I want something that is more protective and that I can open and read with it still in the cover. And it has to be something that I can zip up, I can't see it protecting if from all the stuff I carry. And it would be nice if I could store a light also.

Not asking for much, am I.

Why don't you get a bigger purse?

You might check my post here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...0&postcount=20

I think this $4.00 gem might just fit the smaller Sony's.

LOL after I'd finished reading the thread I was planning to post about converting a filofax into a suitable cover and voilà dougf4 has posted an example.

Previously posted in the "Introduce Yourself" section...

Hello. As makers of the BookArmor line of products, we frequently read the posts here on MobileRead to get a feel for how our products are being received in the market. We truly appreciate all of your posts and often try to incorporate your suggestions and complaints into our new designs.

Today, I am appealing to the community of MobileRead for help. A very unhappy customer has posted a negative review for BookArmor on the Amazon and Amazon UK sites. This customer did not purchase directly from us, and has never contacted us for assistance. Instead, he took his grievance to the public, without even giving us a chance to make things right for him. He is using the BookArmor for the BeBook Neo, yet has posted his review on all of our product listings: Nook, Cybook, Sony, Kindle, Novel, et al. For many of our listings, his negative review is the only one posted, giving a very one-sided view of the product.

If you have any experience with the BookArmor line of products, I implore you to visit either of the Amazon.com sites and post a review of your BookArmor. You do not have to have purchased your BookArmor from Amazon to post a review. While glowing reviews would be most appreciated, we're really looking for objective viewpoints to help balance his negative posting.

Again, we appreciate all of your comments, good and bad, as they guide us in our development of new products. We would welcome any comments from the MobileRead community.

I use an Oberon cover for everyday use, with a harder, DVD player cover that the Oberon and light fits inside of when carrying it away from home. I have an M-Edge cover for it, which I do like, but my Mom destroyed hers through use in 6 months. Her Oberon cover is holding up nicely.

I have a Proporta leather case - play.com had them almost 75% off in their July sale! I was worried that the reader wouldn't be held securely enough by the two plastic pegs, but a good shake (over the bed!) didn't dislodge it. I wouldn't have paid 50 quid for it, but at 12.99 it was a bargain, and makes my PRS-600 look very smart.

BookArmor Delta 6 and PRS-600 + Pandigital Novel

Got the PRS-600 used with a light and cover. All fit in the BookArmor Delta 6 case, put the strips on back of the PRS-600 cover. The only down side is that the PRS-600 cover doesn't fold back over the BookArmor case, but the PRS-600 cover is easily removed from the BookArmor case. So when I sit down on the airplane I remove the PRS-600 + cover from the BookArmor case. The click strips hold amazingly well, and as advertised are easy to snap in and out of the case.

A bonus: a 7" Pandigital Novel tablet fits in the same BookArmor cover/case. So I got an extra set of click strips for the BookArmor and now can take either the reader or the tablet safely on trips. Not taking both as I have to leave one of them for the rest of the family when I travel on business! And if we travel together, I have an old PC tablet padded case for the Novel or the PRS-600 whichever seems to need the extra protection more.

Best, Mark
