battery life and shut down

Make sure you turn if off properly and not just put it to sleep. to turn off totally you need to hold the off button until it asks you to shut down...
similiar to your actual computor..

Thanx a lot, this helps, i disconnected the battery for 10 mins. Now my reader lost 2/4 bars since a week (dont know pagecount). I remind that my reader said "low battery" immediately after disconnect from full charge!
