Onyx boox reader was annouced to sell in China this afternoon through a Chinese sales agency, which is a Shanghai based e-ink reader seller, they said it would be arrived to buyers before Oct, 1st if you pre-order this week, the price is 2980RMB, (428 USD).

Anything that is read by FBReader will be hyphenated. Adobe DE, on the other hand, doesn't do.

The contrast is as good as any other device that uses this screen (Aside from the Touch Edition).

Yes, the font sizes can be increased.

I presume you've used the touchscreen often? Or is that without hardly using the touchscreen? Or doesn't that matter?

Aside from a few bugs, I think the reader software is very good. It supports 5 font size, bookmarks, highlighting, and the external TOC. Links work, and the justification in the file is obeyed.

Do you mean to ask if the Boox screen is fuzzy like the PRS-600? It's not. The touchscreen is behind the epaper screen and does not impair the sharpness.

Does anyone have an idea about when it's available in Europe? Because it's the first e-reader with all the features i want.

If this was in black I'd probably send my pocket pro back as soon as it came. Ok, probably not. But this thing has it all. Not knowing the for sure price though is leaves me wary. I bet it's too rich for my blood.

I've seen it on some Chinese site for 2980 Yuan which would be almost 300 euro's or $ 436 according to google.

Hi Chmreader.

I got some news from ONYX Chinese offical website with new software release V1.0 (download address:http://www.onyx-international.com/so...nyx_update.zip)

(1) There are there default websites in new software : Onyx offical website, Google website and Wiki website, so if you want to visit other website you can search from Google then transfer to the target page.

(2) I have not test directly because I haven't got BOOX now but I suppose that BOOX can support search feature because they can search in both PDF and TXT file. Need to double check after I got the BOOX.

(3) I had seen the TOC in CHM document yet and the picture will upload later.

(4) I heard that BOOX can support outside 3G module from there Chinese forum and the link is :http://www.onyx-international.com/bb...extra=page%3D1

I just tried a CHM, and I also saw the TOC. It worked.
