Oh. That's peculiar. I can reproduce, but I'm not sure why at the moment. I'll double-check the command line parameters.

epubckeck 3.0b5 is not the latest version of epubcheck. Version 3.0.1 is the current version. You are running an old version and that might be the problem. In the first message of this thread is the latest version of the app that contains epubcheck 3.0.1. If that doesn't work, then please let pdurrant know that it is not working.

Thanks for the Italian translation. As Job says, try the 3.0.1 version. Also check the permissions you've got set for running applications. I'm not sure how Mavericks handles an AppleScript running the epubcheck application, and a permission error may well be the problem.
