I didn't know about the magnets either. My fridge is white, but with all of the stuff magnetically held to it, you probably can't tell! They have fridges that have panels that match the cupboards. I think I even saw one with panels that were chalkboards and magnetic.
I actually refer to my fridge as "command central", because I have a large magnetic calendar on the front and magnetic plastic pockets to hold pens of different colors, pencils and notepaper, carry-out menus, my address book, and magnetic business cards for all the frequently used services (bank, vet, medical clinic, pizza place, etc.) I'd be lost without my fridge! Now if it only told me the date and the day of the week... and which contents inside have become science experiments! Even though our fridge is GE, we always get all of our appliances at Sears. They'll service any brand they sell. |

Kitchen Aid side=by-side stainless steel with ice and water in the door. There is a replaceable filter for the water (note to self, "Self, change the filter in the morning.")
It is a great refrigerator. It freezes quickly and everything is in easy view. There are no science projects left there and food rotation is easy. We bought it at Sears and have a Sears service contract on it. In the US they are THE place to buy appliances. (Price match+, delivery, installation, and great service.) |

My sister-in-law introduced those fridge letters in my family... It's something that has been blowing over from across the big pond. |

Yep. When we bought our freezer box, the ones with an A label where ignored, and only those with an A+ or A++ label considered (I ended up with an A++). That it looked nice was a nice bonus.

The main fridge is above that, with a large meat keeper compartment, large bottle storage and butter keeper on the door, etc. This model is made for the Asian market, so the automatic ice maker is designed to by used with bottled water. There is a reservoir that we fill (which of course can be filled with bottled water if needed or wanted) about once every 3-4 days during the summer, which provides us with a constant supply of fresh ice. It's cool. ![]() Stitchawl |

I have a kenmore, pros it keeps stuff cold. Cons its 16 years old, and the ice maker in the freezer is always overflowing .
Doubt that will help you but it shows that Kenmore appliances keep on keeping on. |

I visited SEARS today and checked several kenmore fridges . Many models looks exactly the same as KitchenAid, Amana and Whirlpool products. The seller told me that all these companies produce fridges under kenmore brand.

Mine is a standard white GE with the small freezer on top. Nothing fancy. It does the job, but I don't ask it to do much.

Wow! learn something every day. The only reason I have it is because the old fridge suffered a melt down (literally) and had to buy a new one immediately so I bought one I thought looked nice... at the time I thought it was a crappy no name brand fridge...
