I definitely have to have a longer morning shower to help me wake up. That's when I do major washing. I usually have a quick shower in the evenings before bed, especially in the summer and always when I've just changed the sheets. I love getting into a clean bed with a clean body (notice I didn't say a clean mind. )

I use a diffuser to get my hair into springy curls. If I don't, it's just wavy and kind of does it's own thing, although I am glad it's fairly thick. When I was in college, I used to get a long spiral perm (hey, it was the 80's ) and would just let it air dry. There were plenty of days when I would to class and my hair was frozen.

I come from a working class family, so I shower once a day, at nighttime. After a hard days work you need to wash the sweat/grease/dirt off and get to bed clean.

Even though I work in an office, the habit has stayed with me! In the morning I just shave, spash some water on my face, wet my hair down, brush it and I'm ready!

Shave? Pffft... I just do a once over with the beard-trimmer every sunday. As for showers, once a day is the norm, usually in the evening.

Nah, 'tis ok... No matter if they shower or not... After all that time in the oven, not a single speck of dirt or bacteria has survived... chicken is safe to eat

I have that when it's damp outside... Fog is especially spring generating weather... (we call them corkscrew curls...)

This for me too... If I wash my hair at night it'll be hopeless the next day.

It would depend on the size of the shower stall. At home, yes, it's just too small for two people to comfortably use. Bathing is different though...

I loved living in New Mexico- my hair would actually dry before the day was done because it was such a dry place. (the bad part was my skin would totally dry out too- and itʻs already dry) Here, itʻs constantly humid, so itʻs a losing battle.

I love talking about hair. itʻs the bane of my existence. I have been compared to Janis Joplin and Eddie Vetter on several different occasions (all taking place at a drinking establishment) because of my hair. Usually by drunk guys. Who have a strange way of trying to pick up a lady. ("ooh, you think I look like Eddie Vetter? Wanna come to my place??")

My favorite ʻpick up lineʻ ever was "Hey, you have a lot of hair!" Uh, yes, I do. And now Iʻm using it to do my Cousin It impression. Bye!

I hated living in New Mexico in that respect... my hair became horrible dry there! It would break by just looking at it...

Depends

I voted "other". Generally it's every other day at night (night partly because its more relaxing, and partly because I hate mornings and sleep until the last possible moment), but that applies to only when I am in the climate controlled office (and then car all day). However when I am in the field (especially in the summer) I will shower every night when I get home.

Now my husband takes at least three showers a day. One in the morning to wake up, one immediately when he gets home (which is good cause he is in the field or shop all day) and at least one more before he goes to bed to relax. If he has a migraine or back issue, he'll stay in that shower until the hot water goes away, so sometimes I have to be strategic about getting mine. I'm very glad I have my own well now (even if it is sulfur water) here in Georgia instead of having to pay the scarey water bills that we used to get in Florida.

There's nothing like smelly water to start the day off right.

I found a device with speaker that I can put an mp3 player in, so I can hang it from the showerhead and continue listening to a particularly interesting audiobook during a shower...

Usually in the morning, but not to feel fresh. The water helps wake me up.

A friend of mine showers at night because her hair looks better about 12 hours after washing.

When my hair was longer I would take a shower at night and let it dry overnight-my hair is thick and curly, that always worked better than the morning thing. But now that my hair is up to my jawline (yes, I'm missing it like crazy!!!) I get up early and shower, wakes me up and I have to figure out what on earth to do with my hair.
