Unfortunately, NO. He says he doesn't want to buy any new "toys" until one of the new technologies hits the market later this year. He's intrigued by the color displays promised by Mirasol and Pixel Qi and wants to wait until something using that tech comes out. I would like to see what they come out with too, but was impressed with Asus' tablet netbooks and wouldn't mind getting one of those.

Another silly thing I do is call my children by their siblings name. I was talking to Shannon on the phone and telling her something about Ryleigh and kept saying things like, "Shannon did this. . .Shannon did that. . .". She finally stopped me by yelling rather loudly and indignantly into the phone, "I'm Shannon!!"

we've lost count the number of times we've called one of our kids the dog's name, or vice versa (not a very popular move!).

OK

We have trained the dog to stop and sit at all road intersections while out for our walks. She is not supposed to continue until she hears the "OK".

If I'm walking with my partner (the dog is home alone) and we're downtown or uptown or anywhere there are walk/don't walk signs, when the sign changes from don't walk to walk, I automatically say "OK" out load.

I'm saying "OK" now while sitting in the passenger side of the truck, which is stopped at a red light, and the light turns to green.

OK.

Going up to bathroom sinks with hands already soaped up and continuously running hands under water with nothing happening. Then stepping a little further back, then closer to sink , then waving hands like an idiot. Only to either be informed by person walking in/out or after several attempts, come to find out the sinks are not automatic

A few weeks ago I had attempted to make a roast for my husband...the first time for me. Turn on oven get roast into pan and then toss in oven..... Several hours later, pull roast out. Cold Cold Cold. Come to find out I turned on burners and not oven

When I started working at the hospital I alternated working between the 1st and 3rd floor, with the cafeteria being on the 2nd floor. I couldn't get used to elevator at first. I'd want to go down but get into the elevator going up. I'd push the button for 3 and when it stopped on 2 I'd get off. By the time I realized I was on 2 instead of 3 the doors were shut. On the rare moments when I realized what I did I'd just act like I was supposed to be getting off on the floor and as soon as the door closed I'd take the stairs (that is when the elevator is full; don't want to make an ass outta myself by taking 2 steps out and then turning around when there was barely any room in the first place). There are only 8 floors; some guy told me he was going to 13 and I leaned forward to press the button. It was pretty funny, on the rare occasion I ride the elevator I do that to other people.

Now I just take the stairs all the time.

I've worked at the same doctors office for 19 years now. When I first started there, I had a really bad day; patients were frustrating, phone wouldn't stop ringing, bosses were grouchy. By 3:00, I felt like I was half dead. The phone rang (again!) and for some reason I just looked at it and kept saying "hello...hello....." as it rang. Finally, one elderly patient came over to the desk, looked at me, and said "Honey, I think you have to pick it up."

Sounds like my first and last experience with contacts. I got them in allright - or so i thought. Was complaining to hubby all day that they are no farking good as I couldn't see clearly during the day (thank god I didn't have to drive). Proceeded to take them out at nite. Well, I ended up at the doctors with scracthed cornea - I might not be the smartest cookie under the sun, but at least I don't give up easily

I have my Sony reader flashed with the hacked firmware that places a clock in the lower right corner of the screen. Tonight, I'm reading a deadtree book (don't hurt me!) and catch myself just a fraction of a second before looking down to the bottom right of the page to check the time...

Gesturing to something whilst holding a full cup of tea... with the hand that has the tea in it.

Also pausing drinking to reply to something without actually moving the cup up from the drinking angle (thankfully only ever done this with water!)
