The papa dog was a neighbor of our farm who decided to visit during the weekend when I'm not at the farm.

I kept one and sold the others to cover the expenses of raising them until they were ready to leave their mom. The one I kept went to visit his dad on a weekend i wasn't at the farm and got stolen

Now i have to keep bella locked in her house during the weekend, which i hate doing, but i don't want her to get stolen either.

I walked out the front door today to find this "little" guy on the front porch wall. He was roughly 6 inches across. I'm fairly certain it was a Wolf Spider, but on the big side for one of those. I've never known one of those to bite a person, as far as I know, they just kill insects. So, I leave them be.
That's a tarantula. Wolf spiders are browner and more spindly. Wolf spiders don't have a severely venomous bite, they just look scary.

"Here are my two assuming this works:"

Edited to say that I am hopelessly incapable of posting a photo here from my picasa album...

They are cute dogs though, take my work for it.

Well, that was going to be my second guess. That's the first one I've seen, although I suppose they are common around here. It did seem a bit large for a wolf spider.

It's interesting (to me anyway) that when I wear my LED flashlight cap at night (to take out the trash after dark), I can see all sorts of spider eyes glittering in the dark. I never saw them until I started wearing this cap, and they really are beautiful. They look like little green jewels scattered around the path and the lawn.
