Little, Big John Crowley
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norell Susanna Clarke
The Summer Tree (first of the Fionvar trilogy) Guy Gavriel Kay
Only Forward Michael Marshall Smith
Night Watch Terry Pratchett

If I could get "Little, Big" in eBook format I'd die a happy camper but at least I'm starting to see some of my other favourites beginning to appear in eformat.

1. Nightfall - Isaac Asimov
2. Kiss Me Deadly - Mickey Spillane
3. A Long Way Home From Troy - Donia Mills (I read this in high school and it's stuck with me all these years. lol)
4. The Other Side of Midnight - Sidney Sheldon
5. The Lonely Lady - Harold Robbins

These are my top 5. My tastes in reading are as eclectic as my tastes in writing :-)

I'm sure there are some of you who have been reading a lot longer than me and I've been reading novels for about 23 years. I have no idea how you can come up with a list of 5. For every great book I remember, I'm sure I've forgotten 3 other great books.

I do remember really liking "Snow Crash".

Looks like both of her series, Lymond Chronicles and House of Niccolo became available as ebooks in various formats in August 2010.

It would be such a joy
To sit on infinity's vast shore
Without having to be shy or coy
About reading any book from a library
filled with the world's vast literary lore
Where about what you read none would criticize or annoy
Whether it be something new or what you have read before
Reading those pages woulod be like playing with your favorite toy
For to be able to read what ever you want is something we
should all strive to get the world to adore
