I'd love to give a 5 minute update to interested people, then mingle and chat. I enjoy talking about what's happening in Australia with ebook publishing and ebook readers.

I have 2 e-Ink prototypes on my desk that I can bring along for show and tell They're the only ones in Australia and I'll be demonstrating them at the Aust Booksellers Assoc annual meeting in Sydney this Monday. Any MR members attending, I hope you'll make yourself known to me at the Central Book Services/DA Direct stand.

Chandon... As in Domaine Chandon? That's only 15 mins away from me, but its a very long way for sianon, moz and millydog, unfortunately.

nigeldb, you're the poll expert in our group - anytime you'd like to start another, I'll vote!
Our friend roytravis will join us at the next meetup, for sure, and he's offered to help organise a venue.

Your avatar is awesome!

maybe i should start training by finding a very cramped chair and spending longer and longer periods of time there without moving too much...

congratulations on a job well done. i am really glad to see that you are going to make these australian meetups a regular occurrence !

MM Chateu Chandon, may be a bit of a drive, but it is a pleasant drive and a lovely venue. Would be more than happy to make the sacrifice and drive there .Other alternative int he same general area is Yeering Station. Perhaps my love of wine is showing here
