A quick note on an effect I've found after updating from 2.8.1 to the latest 2.8.5 AppImage on my linux box:
When swapping out an image with a freshly updated image of the same name using the 'Add existing' - as discussed in the several posts above - the preview page now updates automatically. Previously, using Sigil 2.8.1 AppImage, I always had to do a manual refresh using the 'Update Preview Window' button. I always wondered why the refresh wasn't automatic as it is when Code View or the CSS is edited. Is this behaviour (welcome behaviour) a consequence of some of the dev work included in 2.8.5? |
